Video of Vol Commitment

Marsalous Johnson is one of the latest Tennessee commitments. Johnson is a versatile athlete from Smyrna (Tenn.) High School. Check out these exclusive video clips (4 minutes worth) of Johnson.

Marsalous Johnson is staying home and going to the University of Tennessee. He committed to the Vols after a stellar camp performance a few weeks ago. Johnson, 5-9 and 177 pounds, is a versatile athlete from Smyrna (Tenn.) High School.

He reminds me of former Vol Mark Jones in that Johnson will be able to help out Tennessee in many different ways and in all three phases of the game. He plays running back and cornerback in high school and will likely play cornerback in Knoxville. It looks like he could play the wide receiver position as well. Last season was his first playing running back since middle school. He rushed for over 1,400 yards.

Johnson has quick feet and great hips. He has good speed and excellent quickness. Johnson can stop on a dime and is very dangerous with the ball in his hands.

Check him out for yourself in these exclusive video clips.
